WELCOME
Queensland Futsal Academy is aimed at players that are interested in developing technical skills in a professional environment; many nations like Spain, Italy and Brazil have incorporated Futsal Into their Football curriculum and the results speaks for itself those countries won 10 FIFA world Cup among themselves, with increase training facilities difficulties with floods, droughts and rain often lots of Football training session are begin cancelled trough out the season has been cancelled. Fortunaly Futsal is played indoor where none of the reasons above will stop us offering high quality and demand training sessions.

THE AIM
To provide the training and educational (Elite Academy players only) opportunities for all Football and Futsal players to enable them to develop their skills, individual talents and abilities as players, coaches and referees by providing a total holistic approach with our development programs.
We will achieve this by following the player development pathway set out by the Football Federation Australia and Football Queensland. By having elite Academy and skills and drills players progress and encourage to undertake Football Federation of Australia coaching and referee courses and provide opportunities for players to experience a variety of cultures through completion training both via interstate and international excursions. We will provide our players with a solid foundation for the future and growth which will benefit Football and Futsal in all areas including coaching and referring and player development.

PHILOSOPHY
The Academy philosophy is founded on holistic approach, recognising that improving a player’s technical development must go hand in hand with the advancement of each player’s maturity as well as their emotional and psychological well-being. our programmes will focus on 4 key target areas being Motor skills, Cognitive skills and Personal skills and Social skills.
Motor Skills
This deals with each player’s technical and tactical ability focusing on elements such as kicking, dribbling, passing, heading and tackling. Speed, strength, endurance and flexibility are vital elements of these sessions.
Cognitive Skills
This aims to develop qualities such as intuition, memory, concentration, and decision making. Strategies for self expression and creativity and imagination underpin this aspect of our training.
Personal Skills
This helps player’s foster techniques for having control over their emotions or for regaining self control when lost. Motivation, self-esteem and a desire to be autonomous will increase in these sessions.
Social Skills
This helps players learn how to work together as a group and team. Respect for the rules and acceptance of the decisions of others will also be emphasised. Collaboration is a core part of these sessions.

PROGRAMS
Junior Development skills and drills (Commencing September)
Focus on skills where players can perfect their football & Futsal technique, Academy offers training sessions for 7-10 years old.

Junior Elite Academy
High demand training sessions to improve player’s overall game, this is an invitation only Elite players will participate in games, tournaments, tours representing their respective Academy, training sessions 10 to 12 years old.

Youth Development skills and drills (Commencing September)
Sharpen those skills acquire on early age and introduction to team play (tactics) academy offers training sessions for 13-16 years old.

Elite youth Academy
High demand training sessions focus on tactics & set plays , this is an invitation only Elite players will participate in games, tournaments, tours representing their respective Academy, training sessions for 13-16 years old

Goalkeeping Elite training
The Goal keepers are coached by our specific GK coach, using cutting edge coaching techniques to implement and develop alertness, ability, strength and confidence in young keepers. Training sessions are held every second training session, where the focus on key keeper drills to help any young goalkeeper develop their full potential.
