The Queensland Winter Futsal League (QWFL) is a regional competition which enables a Queensland Futsal Player Pathway.
This elite Open Men’s competition is organised in order to provide Players, Match and Team Officials who have been identified as being the best in their respective futsal clubs.
The Queensland Winter Futsal League runs under the auspices of Football Queensland, Affiliated to the FFA and its Futsal governing body FIFA.
The QWFL runs from March to August. Matches will be held fortnightly basis with teams playing two games a night.

Former Socceroo Craig Foster is a firm believer in the benefits of Futsal and as a supporter of Futsal in Queensland, is excited at the prospect of what this Summer League can do for the Future of Futsal in the Sunshine State.

Not only will this improve the development of Futsal and Football, I would expect the Queensland State Futsal teams to benefit at the National Futsal Championships in Canberra, Foster said.”
